The frameworks, in plain language

MiCA

The EU regime for markets in crypto-assets. A single authorization standard for crypto-asset service providers across the bloc.

MiFID II

The EU framework for investment firms and financial instruments, including tokenized securities.

PSD2

The EU payment-services framework, relevant to Fortuna's related payments approvals.

GDPR

The EU data-protection regime, which our identity layer is built to respect.

The host model, in compliance terms

Under MiFID II, tied-agent agreements let firms operate under a licensed umbrella. Under MiCA, unlicensed providers can plug in through licensed entities. We run the model with genuine operating substance, not as a letter-box, and not by renting a license.
